Eligibility Criteria

This PhD scholarship is open to applicants from all nationalities (note: only EU tuition fees are covered). Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Essential:

  • A minimum of a 2.1 Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Audiology, Hearing Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in hearing research, especially in adult and rehabilitative audiology.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Experience in experimental research design.
  • A publication record in hearing sciences or cognitive decline research.

The project investigates the link between hearing loss and cognitive decline in older adults.
