Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the ECTRIMS Fellowship 2026, applicants must:
- Hold an MD, PhD, ScD, or equivalent degree
- Be of any nationality, but conduct research at a European institution
- Focus research on multiple sclerosis in any related specialty
- Have completed advanced degrees before starting the fellowship
- Have less than 12 months of prior postdoctoral training at the same host institution or with the same mentor
- Have no more than five years of total postdoctoral experience beyond their final degree
- Be generally under 40 years old (exceptions may apply)
- Demonstrate language proficiency for the host country’s language
Note for European citizens: The host institution must be in a European country different from your country of citizenship.
