Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
To be eligible for the Yale Climate Leaders Fellowship 2026, applicants must:
- Be from the Global South, including countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, or the Caribbean.
- Have 5–10 years of professional experience in climate-related fields such as:
- Public service
- Clean energy
- Journalism
- Education
- Research
- Civil society
- Finance
- Law and policy
- Entrepreneurship
- Be fluent in English
- Be available to attend both in-person sessions (Yale and Paris) and participate fully in the online program.
There is no age limit, and professionals from both public and private sectors are encouraged to apply.
