Students accepted into the MSc in Global Plant Health at UEA will be automatically considered for either a full or partial scholarship, depending on eligibility criteria. David Sainsbury Scholarship Options
1. David Sainsbury Full MSc Scholarship
Coverage:

Full tuition fee for international students (£35,450 for 2025–26)

Maintenance grant equal to the UKRI postgraduate stipend (e.g., £19,237 in 2024–25)

Travel allowance up to £4,000 for economy-class tickets (reimbursed with valid receipts)
Eligibility:

Must have an offer of admission to the MSc in Global Plant Health at UEA
-
Must be a national of or domiciled in a least-developed, low-income, or lower-middle-income country, as classified by the OECD DAC list (2024–25)
Note: Scholarships are highly competitive and awarded on a rolling basis—early application is strongly recommended.
2. David Sainsbury 50% Fee Scholarship
Coverage:

Covers 50% of tuition fees:

£17,725 for both UK and international students

Adjusted based on any additional funding exceeding the 50% threshold

Must hold an offer of admission to the MSc in Global Plant Health
