About the Leading Scholarship

The Leading Scholarship is One Young World’s flagship program designed to ensure equitable representation at the Summit. It supports exceptional individuals from underrepresented countries and regions who are building a more inclusive, sustainable, and just world.

Each year, scholars are selected for their visionary leadership and impactful solutions addressing the world’s most pressing challenges.

Leading Scholarship (What the Scholarship Covers)

If selected, you will receive:

Full delegate access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany
Hotel accommodation from 2 to 6 November 2025
Daily catering (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) during the Summit
Return travel to and from Munich (same international airport of origin and return)

Note: Visa costs (application fee, travel to consulate, documents, etc.) are not covered by the scholarship. Scholars are responsible for these expenses.

Leading Scholarship (Eligibility Criteria)

You are eligible if you:

Are aged 18–30 by 3 November 2025 (applications from individuals 30+ with exceptional achievements may be considered)
Have a track record of positive change and social impact
Show strong leadership and the ability to influence others
Are tackling key local or global issues (e.g. sustainability, education, public health, social justice, tech)
Can demonstrate innovation and real-world impact through your work
