Applications are officially open for the IAPS AI Policy Fellowship 2025, a unique and fully funded opportunity designed for individuals passionate about the future of artificial intelligence policy. This prestigious 3-month fellowship offers participants the chance to engage in high-level policy work either in Washington, D.C. or remotely. Regardless of your location, all selected fellows are required to participate in a two-week in-person residency in Washington, D.C., from September 1–12, 2025.

Following the residency, fellows can choose to complete the remainder of the program—running until November 21, 2025—either in person in Washington, D.C., or remotely from anywhere in the world.

This fellowship is open to individuals from diverse professional and academic backgrounds. It is designed to foster collaborative, interdisciplinary efforts to develop practical and forward-thinking AI policy frameworks. Fellows will have the opportunity to work on real-world policy challenges, contribute to actionable outcomes, and build a strong foundation in AI policy.

IAPS AI Policy Fellowship Program (Financial Support)

The IAPS Fellowship is fully funded, offering generous stipends to support fellows throughout the program:
