JJ/WBGSP Scholarship Benefits

JJ/WBGSP Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the JJ/WBGSP Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Language: Proficiency in English.
  • Eligible Countries: Citizens of developing nations.
  • Citizenship: Must not hold dual citizenship with any developed country.
  • Health: Must be in good health.
  • Academic Requirement: A Bachelor’s degree earned at least three years before the application deadline.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of three years of recent development-related work experience.
  • Employment: Must be employed full-time in a development-related role at the time of application (except for applicants from Fragile and Conflict States).
  • Admission Requirement: Must have an unconditional admission offer to a preferred master’s program outside the applicant’s home country before applying for the scholarship.

Who Is Not Eligible?

  • World Bank Group Executive Directors, staff, or their close relatives (mother, father, sibling, child, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew).
