Seyi Makinde Announces Tuition Fee Reduction of 25 % For All LAUTECH Students

Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, said today that all tuition fees for students at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, had been slashed by 25%.
According to Naijonline, the governor made the announcement on Tuesday when visiting Ogbomoso to inspect and commission several projects.
Makinde informed the students that now that his government has sole possession of the university, there would be no further strikes. Reiterating that all students, regardless of their financial position, are eligible for the tuition fee reduction.

Makinde and his party also examined the 3km Under G-Stadium-LAUTECH-2nd Gate Road, which his administration renovated and illuminated.
The governor went on a walk down the length of the road, giving him the opportunity to speak with locals.
In a related event, the governor dedicated the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso’s High Dependency Unit (HDU).

Makinde stated that the HDU will provide secondary healthcare services for those who require more thorough care.
