“Don’t let me block you” – Singer, Simi tells womb watchers saying she’s pregnant again

Simi, a popular Nigerian musician and proud mother of one, has addressed womb watchers, implying that she is pregnant with her second child.

Simisola Kosoko (Ogunleye; April 19, 1988) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress better known by her stage name Simi. She began her career as a gospel singer and released her first studio album, Ogaju, in 2008.  After releasing “Tiff,” a song that was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015, she rose to stardom in 2014.

It all started when Simi tweeted a snapshot of her one-year-old daughter, Adejare, performing an uncommon feat, and friends and followers of the singer commented on how Deja’s posture indicated that another baby is on the way.

In recent news, Singers, Simi, and Adekunle Gold are in a celebratory mood as their first child, Adejare, turns one on May 30. The proud parents shared adorable photos with their daughter on their Instagram pages as they celebrated and professed their love for her.

The ‘Duduke’ singer, who appeared to be having none of it, rushed to Instagram to respond to the comments. Simi stated that she is not pregnant and that this was not the first time her daughter had attempted the act while playing.

In her words,

“Lotta people saying babies do that while their mom is pregnant. She did that months ago too, and I ain’t seen no baby. Don’t let me block you ok? Pregnant ko covenant ni”.

This comes after Simi and Adekunle Gold, a celebrity couple, revealed their baby’s face on her first birthday a few weeks ago.

Adejare, the lovely daughter of famed Nigerian singers Adekunle Gold and Simi, turned one on May 30th, and her parents celebrated by exposing her face for the first time on social media.
