She was born on July 20, 1984, in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria’s southwestern region. She is 33 years old right now. She is the first of five children in her family.

She began acting at a young age and was a part of a theatrical club during her high school years. She is highly attractive, gifted, creative, skilled, and talented in acting and interpreting movie parts, and she can fit into any character provided to her by Nigerian film directors and producers.

Personal Life

Dayo Amusa continues to play an important part in the management of Nigeria’s educational system. She is the proprietress of two schools at the moment. One of them is in Ibadan, while the other is in her home state of Lagos.

Dayo Amusa received her First School Leaving Certificate from Kenny-Tee Private School in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria. After finishing primary school, Dayo Amusa went on to Mayflower Secondary School in Ikenne Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, and then to Mamak Secondary School in Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria, where she earned her West African Senior School Certificate.

Dayo Amusa attended Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, after finishing secondary school and earning a National Diploma (OND) in Food Science and Technology.

Career

Dayo Amusa joined the Nigerian film industry (Nollywood) in 2002 and began appearing in Nollywood films. She primarily appears in Yoruba-language films, but she also appears in English-language films on occasion. In 2006, she began creating her own films and specialized in Yoruba films.

She has appeared in films like Ajegbodo, Oju Awo, Ekan Soso, Oogun Mii, Dewunmi Iberu, Inu, Idaa, Aroba, Unforgivable, Pathetic, Omoniyun, and many more. She primarily appears in Yoruba films.

Dayo Amusa is a musician in addition to being an actor. She has had several successful singles, including Aye Mii, Ayemi Remix ft. Oritsefemi, Alejo, Blow My Mind, Mama’s Love, and Omodaddy.
