The Administrator of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, Boss Mustapha has precluded any arrival of sporting exercises in the nation, particularly football,  until further notice.

Mustapha who talked at today’s meeting in Abuja said PTF isn’t happy for giving the green light for sports to return in the nation since football exercises bring about a large number of people coming together.

He noticed that the couple of nations that have permitted sports to return are doing as such with a condition that football lovers would not be allowed to watch the game.

We all are aware that football as a game brings about crowds and with the present situations on the ground as a result of the negative impacts of the coronavirus pandemic effects across the world, it is very important we all maintain social gatherings of not more than 20 people.

We are not excited about the fact that sports are about to return, given the moderate pace way we are re-opening the economy… we will arrive, yet until further notice, we are worried about the couple of regions we have permitted to reopen.

We will keep on looking at the conditions that surround the circumstance, know how we are faring, study the environment and realize what gaps to close depending on the  information, science, and eccentricity of our condition.”

It would be noticed that the Nigerian Professional League (NPFL) has been suspended by the alliance Management board (LMC), while the games service deferred the Edo 2020 National Sports Festival just as all other brandishing exercises in the nation.
