UNILORIN Post UTME Application Process 2025

The application process is entirely online and follows these steps:

General Guidelines

Candidates are requested to print out this page and read it carefully before commencing registration.
Registration Period:
From 00:01hr Monday, 28th July 2025 to 00:00hr Sunday, 10th August 2025.
All candidates must upload their O’ Level and/or A’ Level results (where applicable) on JAMB CAPS.
Candidates awaiting results should indicate this by typing/selecting ‘AR’.

Change of Course/Programme

Changes must be made only on JAMB CAPS, not on the Unilorin portal.
The University will periodically download these changes from JAMB CAPS and update its portal until the close of registration.
No updates will be made after registration closes.

Before Registration

Have a personal, valid, and active email address and a personal mobile number (not a third-party’s).
Registration fee: ₦2,000.00 only.
Crosscheck all entries before final submission.
Corrections can be made before registration closes.

Printing and Verification

Print your screening document after completing registration.
Ensure all details, including the BEST FIVE (5) RELATED subjects and UTME subjects/scores, are correctly displayed.

Step 1 – Accessing the Portal

Go to https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ug/candidate/
OR visit https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ and click Undergraduate Portal.
Do not use any other link.

Step 2 – Start Pre-admission Screening

On the Admission Menu (left-hand side), click Pre-admission Screening Registration.
Complete the displayed fields (e.g., JAMB Registration Number, Surname).
Click Get Details for UTME/DE information.
Fill in required details (O’ Level/A’ Level grades or ‘AR’ for Awaiting Results).

Step 3 – Payment

Click Make Payment to go to the Remita platform.
Select your ATM card type (Visa or MasterCard).
Enter:
- ATM Card Number (12 digits)
- Expiry Date
- CVV (3 digits at the back)
- PIN
Click Pay.

Do not refresh the browser during payment.

1. Click Admission Login on the Undergraduate Portal.
2. Enter JAMB Registration Number and Surname, then click Login.
3. Click Next Step and complete all required details.
4. Click Submit after confirming all information is accurate.

Note: Candidates upgrading from UTME to Direct Entry must first make this change on JAMB CAPS before starting Unilorin registration.

C. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Follow the same steps as in B (i–xi).
Select your highest academic qualification from the drop-down menu and click Save.
Confirm with OK when prompted.
