Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the 2026–27 Kader Asmal Fellowship, you must:
- Be a South African citizen and currently reside in South Africa
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Have at least two years of relevant work experience
- Not be currently pursuing or already holding a Master’s degree
- Not have previously applied more than once for the Ireland Fellows Programme
- Be committed to starting your Master’s in Ireland in 2026 or 2027
- Demonstrate leadership potential and a strong commitment to the SDGs
- Select three relevant courses from the approved course list
- Show strong English language skills (IELTS/TOEFL scores recommended)
