UNITAR 2025 Global Youth Scholars Development Programme (Eligibility Criteria)
To be considered, applicants must:
Be 18 to 24 years old by the time the program begins
Be passionate about sustainability, the UN SDGs, or global policy
Show leadership potential and community involvement
Be proficient in English
Have reliable internet access and a digital device
Commit to completing the program and submitting a final community-based SDG evaluation report

Online Learning (June–December 2025)
Monthly training sessions on citizen-led SDG monitoring and evaluation
Local SDG Case Study (July–December 2025)
Conduct a real-world evaluation of a sustainability initiative in your community
Optional Study Visits (July–November 2025)
Attend field visits to global cities for policy dialogue and institutional tours
Final Report & Global Showcase (Dec 2025 – Feb 2026)
Selected scholars will be invited to Geneva to present their findings to UN officials and global leaders
