To be eligible for the UBC Four Years Doctoral Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• NSERC Doctoral Postgraduate Scholarships (PGSD)

Those awarded external scholarships may also be eligible for 4YF tuition coverage. If their external scholarship expires before completing their PhD, they will receive the 4YF stipend and tuition support for the remaining period, up to the fourth year of their studies.
