The Forrest Research Foundation Post-Doctoral Fellowship provides:

  • Salary of up to $95,000 per year (aligned with Level A Step 8 academic salaries, plus 17% superannuation)
  • Accommodation allowance of $21,447 per year (2023 rate, subject to tax)

Forrest Research Foundation Fellowship Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Forrest Research Foundation Fellowship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English
  • Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all countries
  • PhD Status:
    • Must be in the final year of PhD or
    • No more than two years post-PhD conferral
  • Residency Requirement:
    • Must reside at Forrest Hall for the entire fellowship period
  • Commitment to the Forrest Research Foundation:
    • Participate in mentorship programs for Forrest Scholars
    • Engage in ambassadorial roles for the Foundation
    • Contribute to leadership activities within Forrest Hall
