- Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4 or 3.5/5 (Second Class Upper credit).
- Public Polytechnics:
- Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (Upper Credit) from the OND program and must have secured admission into the HND program.
- Direct Entry Students:
- Must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (Upper Credit) from the OND program and have gained admission into 300-level in a public university.
2. MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS)
This category is open to 200 and 300-level blind students in public tertiary institutions.
- Public Universities & Colleges of Education:
- Minimum CGPA of 2.5.
- Public Polytechnics:
- Minimum CGPA of 2.0 from the OND program and must have secured admission into the HND program.
- Law Students (5-year Course):
- Only 300-level students are eligible to apply.
Additionally, the Top 10 UTME candidates are automatically awarded scholarships from their 100-level to graduation, provided they maintain the required academic performance.
