Full-time MBA Program
Our full-time MBA program commences in September and January each year. The program duration is one year, divided into three semesters. Throughout each semester, you will undertake a minimum of two core courses.
During the program, you will attend the following:
- Four 2-day seminars (Saturday and Sunday), facilitated by a faculty member from Edinburgh Business School. These seminars incorporate simulations, case studies, and class discussions.
- Two 2-day revision sessions (Saturday and Sunday) to help you prepare for your exams.
These seminars provide a dynamic learning environment, enabling students with diverse experiences, backgrounds, and cultures to share and exchange knowledge.
Part-time MBA Program
If you choose the part-time MBA program, you can start in January or September. The program duration is two years, divided into three semesters per year. In each semester, you will complete a minimum of one core course.
Throughout the program, you will attend the following:
- Two 2-day seminars (Saturday and Sunday), led by a faculty member from Edinburgh Business School. These seminars incorporate simulations, case studies, and class discussions.
- One 2-day revision session (Saturday and Sunday) to help you prepare for your exams.
Similar to the full-time program, these seminars foster a dynamic learning environment where students with diverse backgrounds can share and exchange knowledge.
MBA with Specialism
We also offer specialized MBA programs in Finance and Strategy. These programs encompass the same seven core courses as the standard MBA. However, instead of two elective courses, you will undertake four specialist courses in your chosen area. Students have the option to complete the seven core courses on our campuses and study the four specialist electives through distance learning.
Postgraduate Merit Scholarship/ Part-time MBA Scholarship
We are pleased to offer the Postgraduate Merit Scholarship, which is guaranteed to eligible students. The scholarship amount is calculated based on the net tuition after deducting any other received discounts. It is distributed equally across the installment payments made per year by the student.
The final decisions regarding scholarships are at the discretion of the academic head or regional recruitment director, considering factors such as undergraduate degree grades, relevant work experience, if applicable, and English language requirements. It is important to note that all scholarship decisions are subject to approval by the Scholarship Committee.
Postgraduate Merit Scholarship Criteria (Nigeria)
For students from Nigeria, the scholarship criteria are as follows:
- Second Class Honors, First Division OR GPA of 3.5/5: 10% scholarship
- First Class Honors OR GPA of 4.5/5: 15% scholarship
